Unit Description:

This unit is designed for Stage 4 students to study the various techniques used by the media to influence our ways of thinking, through the power of persuasion. The unit develops the students’ understanding of how the media influences or distorts the public perception of real life and hypothetical situations and encourages students to ‘speak out’ in response to these ideas.
