Unit description

This unit is a comparative study and it will focus on different versions of Macbeth and the ways in which the text can be represented by composers and read by responders. Students will respond to texts in critical, imaginative and interpretive ways. The focus of the unit will be developing their ability to articulate their understanding of how context affects meaning and the ways ideas can be represented in drama and film.
