What are the different Pedagogical Spaces?

Learning Spaces can be linked explicitly to a school’s pedagogical philosophy. Identifying some of the pedagogical modes and classroom activities can provide the answers to the most appropriate configuration in each of the spaces.

Learning activities can dictate furniture configuration and technology needs in learning spaces?

When we identify the learning activities and learning characteristics it is easy to align these to the Pedagogical Spaces. The alignment of these elements can then also be linked to Thornburg's Primordial Learning Spaces. This in turn starts to illustrate the type of audio visual considerations for any learning space. The appropriate use of ICT as a part of your purposefully designed learning should be invisible.

2. Are there pedagogical modes which I am not comfortable using at all?

3. What structures do I have set up in my classrooms to facilitate these modes?
