High School Information
Students transitioning to High School
Current 8th grade students will receive a presentation from the Eastlake high school counselors in early March before Spring Break. Olympian High School Counselors presented to future Olympian students in January 2024. Eastlake and Olympian High School counselors provide a presentation and they assist students in selecting classes for high school. Students who would like to request a transfer to a different high school can visit the website for the SUHSD Student Services Department at http://studentservices.sweetwaterschools.org/ for more information.
Eastlake High School is a major feeder high school for Eastlake Middle School students. In March, the Eastlake High School counseling department will be presenting high school information to our current 8th grade students and assist students in selecting their courses for 9th grade. Olympian High School is the 2nd largest feeder high school for Eastlake Middle School. If your child's home school is Olympian High School, counselors will be visiting Eastlake Middle School in January 2024 to assist students in selecting their 9th grade courses and making the transition to Olympian High School.

Students planning on attending a high school other than Eastlake or Olympian High School, should reach out directly to the high school to register and select their classes for 9th grade.
