Eastlake Middle School Counseling Center

Welcome to the Eastlake Middle School Counseling Department

The goal of the Eastlake Middle School counseling team is to promote academic and personal success by working cooperatively with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the community.  We embrace the diversity of our students and advocate for equity, access, and success for all students.

Eastlake Middle School Counseling Team

The Eastlake Middle School Counseling Department has 4 full-time counselors and 1 part-time counselors. In addition to working closely with students, teachers and families, we also work closely with our registrar, attendance clerk, nurse, school psychologist, assistant principals, and principal.  Students are assigned to a counselor based on their last name. In most cases, students remain with the same counselor for 7th and 8th grade.

If you have any questions or concerns, parents are always welcome to contact us over the phone, email or schedule a virtual conference.  If Covid guidelines allow, we can also schedule an in-person meeting.

Students are welcome to visit the counseling center before and after school and during nutrition break, lunch and advisory/ TSP.  If the counselor is not available, students can send us an email or Jupiter Message and the counselor will call the student to the office during the school day.  For urgent matters, students can request to see their counselor during class and may meet with any counselor that is available.

If you have questions regarding a specific class or grade, it is best to reach out directly to the teacher.  Teachers can be reached through Jupiter Grades Messaging or emailed directly.  All staff contact information can be found on our school website in the staff directory.  Most teachers update their grades via Jupiter Grades. If you need assistance with Jupiter Grades, feel free to contact your child’s counselor.
