FY2025 LWG Results

The Local Work Group for 2025 fiscal year priorities convened on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Caldwell County Scott Annex. The LWG listening session was announced on Facebook, listed in the Lockhart Post-Register Community Calendar, shared through USDA Gov-Delivery, and email invitations were sent to individuals on the District list.

The local input gathered was compiled to identify the local natural resource priorities listed below. We appreciate the participants' active input in the meeting.

FY2024 LWG Results

The Local Work Group for 2024 fiscal year priorities convened on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Caldwell County Scott Annex. The LWG listening session was announced on Facebook, listed in the Lockhart Post-Register Community Calendar, shared through USDA Gov-Delivery, and email invitations were sent to individuals on the District list.

The local input gathered in the session meeting were compiled to identify the local natural resource concerns. Themes from the listening session centered on urban pressures, loss of wildlife habitat from drought, invasives to include mesquite, and loss of pasture grasses and hardwoods from drought. We appreciate the participants' active input in the meeting.

FY2023 LWG Results

The Local Work Group for 2023 fiscal year priorities convened by online survey running from February 15, 2022, to March 31, 2022. The survey was announced on Facebook via posts on February 22, March 24, and March 26, 2022. Twenty-one local respondents completed the survey with their responses included in the overall Local Workgroup results.

The LWG meeting, also announced on Facebook, was held on April 7, 2022.

The local input gathered through the survey and the meeting were compiled to identify the local natural resource priorities listed below. We appreciate the individuals participating through the survey and/or the meeting.

The LWG meeting, also announced on Facebook, was held on April 1, 2021.
