The Caldwell-Travis Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) serves the community through promotion of sound soil and water conservation programs on farm and ranch lands within the district.
The SWCD works to bring to the public a widespread understanding of the needs of soil and water conservation. The district activates the efforts of public and private organizations and agencies creating a united front to combat soil and water erosion and to enhance water quality and quantity. The Caldwell-Travis district develops locally-driven solutions to natural resource concerns.
