At Sumiton Christian School, athletics are an essential part of our commitment to develop the whole child spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Our athletic programs provide students with opportunities to grow in discipline, teamwork, character, and steadfast faith, teaching lessons that extend far beyond the field or court.

Youth Athletics & Community Engagement

Before junior high competition begins, many of our students get involved through the Sumiton Christian Youth Association (SCYA), which offers foundational sport experiences for boys and girls ages 4–12 in basketball, football, baseball, softball, and volleyball. These programs focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun in a supportive, community-centered environment.
