Our 2025 graduating class of 32 students broke a school record for college scholarship offers!
It is vitally important to help students become motivated to learn in order to be successful in the classroom today and in the world tomorrow. Our goal is to see students not only taking ownership of concepts we teach, but to applying and practicing them as well. Sumiton Christian stands for excellence and believes God requires our best, not only spiritually, but mentally and physically.
Our academic program is comprehensive, college preparatory, and taught within a Christian framework. We are dedicated to supporting families and preparing our students to become goal seekers, problem solvers and leaders in their community, state and world. We use a variety of assessments to help us maintain these standards and adjust our teaching and classroom techniques as needed to encourage all students to reach their fullest potential. Sumiton Christian continues to exceed national and state norms which help our students be better prepared to meet the demanding challenges at the post secondary level and in the job market.
Through class instruction and a variety of school activities students are encouraged to discover and embrace their uniqueness in God's plan and to represent Christ in all aspects of their lives.

Computer courses are useful tools in helping Sumiton Christian students learn core subjects and familiarize themselves with various uses of computer technology. Computer instruction offered varies from semester to semester, but has included courses like software application, programming, cybersecurity, and graphic design. Computer labs are also available on campus for students to conduct research and complete projects across all subjects on campus.
At Sumiton Christian, we keep God at the center of all we do, helping students grow both academically and spiritually. They’re encouraged to connect their faith to everyday life and learning, which fosters compassion and a heart for service. Through programs like Eagle Ambassadors, students regularly volunteer in the community—collecting canned food, packing shoeboxes for Operation Compassion, helping with the food bank, and more—continually setting new records in service hours.
There must be consistency and congruence between school and family. An imbalance in any realm may prevent a child from fulfilling the call of God upon his life and from developing into a responsible adult. Therefore, clear, continuous communication is an absolute necessity. Since we are an extension of one another while we are working together to accomplish and develop God’s best in each child’s life, parent teacher conferences will be scheduled upon request by parent, teacher, or used as needed.
