I chose this specific species, because I adored the green in the facial area. The green made it feel so special to me. Green is my favorite color, the dark color was different from the other ducks I had seen. I loved the way the feathers laid on the rest of the duck. I used alot of different materials to create this piece. I used gouache, colored pencil, ink pen. And overlayed those materials to give it a more realstic idea, my  favorite part by far is the head of the duck. I love how realstic the eyes and the green and black portion of the head looks.
