Graphite Self Portrait

Artist Statement:

This assignment was incribely difficult for me. I have a difficult time drawing realistically, I personally believe that I could have done alot better with this piece. There's alot of parts that didn't sit right with me. The grid portion was really helpful, for me. Starting from the left to right was extremely helpful. The highlight portion was difficult because I felt like I didn't really have control over the graphite while working.
