My Statement About this assignment:

• I’m calling this project, The journey because My interpretation of this assignment was to create drawings to comeback to at the end of the year. The subject is a portrait based off a Real Object. I chose to create this specific work because I was inspired to by something inside of me. For materials, I used a graphite pencil. I used a variety of techniques and methods including: drawing. While creating this work, I paid close attention to my drawing by going slow and taking my time. I wanted my artwork to look weird and I did that by being myself. To add interest to my composition, I used dark lines by pressing down on the paper with a 4B pencil. I like the way my drawings came out and I am proud of that. However, I struggled with overall drawing. If I created another work like this I may add color. My work shows that I learned the progression of my drawing.
