Pure Contour

In these pieces the assignment was to draw things in pure contour style. This means you have to draw somethings with only solid lines wherever there are creases or other lines on the object.

In these pieces I used pencil on 12" x 8" paper and used an object in which I would draw onto the paper.

The first thing I did in all of the shoe pieces is draw a basic outline. After I had done the outline I would revise it and make sure the proportions were correct. When I completed the revised outline I would then go from one side of the shoe to the other adding small details as I went. These pieces were more realism based so there weren't any creative decisions I could make on them which made them easier in my opinion.
