Beautiful Oops

I made this piece for the beautiful oops project . The reason I made this was that when I got the paper with two blotches of ink diagonally spaced on the paper. I thought that they looked like eyes so I decided to draw a face.

I used an ink pen for all the line work in this piece and I used 9 by six paper. There were two ink blotches on my paper when I got it and I was able to turn those into eyes using my pen.

I chose the paper with the two blotches because I thought it would look cool if I turned the two blotches into eyes of a face. I made this piece in study hall because I had all my supplies. I started out drawing a mouth under the eyes. Then I made the outline to the face and started shading places on it. After I was done with that I thought it looked kind of empty so I took the pen and crosshatched and scribbled and made shadows behind the face. I thought that this added more contrast and also filled the page.
