Linoleum Prints

For this project I wanted a simple design of Maine. I combined both state flags to create my design.

I used my block, ink, tools to carve out my block, and paper.

For this project I started with an idea generation in which I decided to combine both state flags to create my design.  After this I tranferred my design to my block and carved it out. Then I started printing. I had to do a lot of prints to get perfect ones. This was a challenge for me. After about 35 prints I got 4 perfect prints.
