Color Design

For this project I used acrylic paint on canvas.

I drew inspiration from puzzles because I thought it would look cool if I did 12 puzzle pieces split up in 7 different tints and shades. I used that inspiration to create this drawing.

First I divided up my canvas into 12 equal squares. Then I started to add in the knotches for the puzzle pieces. Then I started to drawing my patterns and paint. I used a variety of patterns throughout the painting. I did at least 2 coats of paint for each color.
