In this project update, a lot was made and we ended up finishing the go kart and has a functioning deisgn. Yes we still have some drawbacks with the design quality, but it works and accelerates using the electric motor. While we did have some drawbacks which I'll go more into detail later on, we did get a working prototype/final product complete.

Capstone Budget and Receipts:

I total we got $400 given or funded by the STEM Board for our project and we ended uo only going $10 over. Which I think is very good considering there are multiple areas that we could improve on.

Capstone Budget and Receipts:

This was a picture of the whole group presenting to parents at the senior STEM awards night. On the table you can see our final completed project and on the right is our poster for parents to get a gage at what our project is and what purpose it serves.

Marketing Material:

This was some of the marketing material we had to make for our Open House presentation. On the left is our business card for our project (Project Go Kart). And on the right includes all relevant data and information that people might want to know about our project, including our social media, our mentor, pictures of us working on the project, budgeting and the purpose of our project.

Drawbacks:

Some drawbacks that we faced were the assignments that we had to balance while having to build the go kart. It was tough to balance time taking care of the assignments that were in Google classroom, and actually building the go kart. We had to draw a lot of our attention to completing the assignments in class, such as the drawing tutorials, and other assignments such as tinker cad and sim scale.

Reflection: As a team we all picked it up a little and worked a solid couple days to finish our Go Kart. We worked effectively and tested our design as we went along the building process. Out time management could have been a lot better but it is what it is and we ended up finishing it which is the good thing. We had to draw a lot of our attention to completing the assignments in class, such as the drawing tutorials, and other assignments such as tinker cad and sim scale, and this did take up a lot of our time which again was a really bid drawback.
