My group consisted of 5 members, Miro, Mateo, Francisco, Arnav, and I chose to do the World Problem of Why people forget things. What we did for the engineering design cycle and to solve the problem was Forgetfulness - Dementia - Alzheimers disease.

Design Cycle -
Identify the Need and Constraints - We figured out our problem after some brainstorming. We decided to focus on memory loss, more specifically how to limit the effect of this condition.
Research Problem - During class we worked individually for two days, researching and annotating articles for memory loss/ dementia using reliable sources. When we finished our research we gathered as a group and shared our information with one another.
Developing Solutions - We thought about creating an app that could allow someone to write down notes or record anything to remind them. But we came to our senses and realized this wasn't going to work because they could still forget they made reminders for themselves. Then we came up with a way to test someone for memory problems.
Plan - We decided to make a test that can be used by anyone to determine is they might have serious memory issues.
Creating a prototype - In our slideshow we tried to make a final design, there is also a beta version that can provide information on how the website will work.
Test- We examined our proposed solution by considering many scenarios that might provide assistance. We checked what was required for each testing center and what was necessary for our testing.
Improve - Our initial design was a simple test to include multiple memory, and recognition pattern tests. We also made the design easier, enabling so it provided more information to the person using it.
Reflection - In this project it consisted of 5 people including myself, for this project we had to annotate websites and use our resources to provide evidence for what Dementia is and if there is a cure for it. We had to make a slideshow for this project and input data and information of at what age it is the highest/lowest percent to have memory loss. At what age it is also most popular to get dementia. I think I worked pretty well in this project, I annotated 3 websites and had 80+ annotations in total which helped with the data and information.I collaborated well with my group members and was able to do my work and finish on time. Something that I could have improved on is collaborating more with my group for a future project.
