What are you passionate about, and how could you apply your passions to a possible Capstone project?
I'm passionate about music, especially DJing, and I’m also really into snowboarding, finance, and politics. I love how music and sports bring people together, and how finance and politics shape our world. I want my Capstone project to combine these interests. I'm not completely sure how I will incorporate these ideas together into one project. However, it’s important to me that the project reflects what I enjoy while also trying to solve real-world topics.
What are you good at/like to do, what are you skilled at?
I'm skilled at DJing and understanding music and it's theory. I also view myself as good at understanding financial and political topics, especially analyzing how certain systems work and affect people. I like being creative, making things that people connect with, and I enjoy outdoor activities like snowboarding and camping.
Which new skills would you like to research and practice as you work on your Capstone?
I would like to work on certain skills such as sketching, designing, and prototyping. Also, I’d like to learn more about audio production, video editing, data visualization, and possibly web design to help present my Capstone in a professional way.
How do you hope to apply your skills and passions in the Capstone?
I hope to use creativity and real-world issues by using my skills in research to create a Capstone that is original, meaningful, and reflective of what I care about.
