Our goal for this project was to make a working instrument. My instrument are the Chimes.

For this project we tried to design some of the base instruments that are part of music today. My team chose guitar, trombone , and my instrument the chimes. This project allowed us to be able to freely observe and venture the world of creating instruments. This first thing apart of the design process was finding which instruments we picked and created. We had to make a string, wind and percussion instrument. next was actually sketching a blueprint of our idea of our instrument. After we went to create them I then made 8 chimes that were created based on certain lengths to make specific notes. After since I finished earlier than everyone else I was able to help my team and other people who had my type of instrument they were working on. Later we were assigned write a song about our current topic which were wavelengths. So I created my own original "WAVELENGTH AND FREQUENCY"

1. Frequency: number of wavelengths that pass the given point at a certain amount of time

How to Calculate: f = v/𝝺

2. Wavelength: length of a wave from a point to adjacent wave's counterpart point

How to Calculate: 𝝺 = v/f

3. Wave Speed: the rate of covered distance in a direction that a wave travels

How to Calculate: v=f𝝺

4. Amplitude: the distance from a crest or trough of a wave to the midline of the wave

5. Transverse Wave: The wave which vibrates perpendicular to a motion it propagates, producing troughs and crests, which in turn, an amplitude

6. Longitudinal Wave: The wave that vibrates the direction of propagation, that is diversified with compression and rarefaction

7. Electromagnetic Spectrum: The range of electromagnetic radiation which advances an increase of frequency plus potency, inserting visible light as a median.
