About Me
About Me
I’m Rona Q. Pajand from the Philippines. I’m proud to be multilingual: I speak English, Tagalog, and Kapampangan, and that adds to my interactions with others. Coming to the USA with my husband and daughter in 2013 created a new chapter in our lives.
I went on to work in different jobs and found my true calling as a Special Education Assistant in a school district, encouraged by my friends. Working with students and teachers was more than satisfying; it brought back a passion for learning that I thought I had left behind. The love and appreciation I got from my students have made me want to become a teacher myself.
I discovered how to be a teacher through personal growth. I had my first big meetings with Ms. Julie and Ms. Zoe, which sent me on a big journey to earn a teaching credential in Science with a Master in Education. I chose Science because I like the subject, and it aligns with my education. I got a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, and studied medicine. It was hard to do what I have been doing, but it only encouraged me to pursue my passion for education.
I am very interested in developing young minds and inspiring the next generation of learners. My journey has been one of growth, resilience, and unwavering dedication, and I will continue it as a teacher. I am so thankful for your support along this path!
