For this ISTE reflection, I chose to focus on Standard 5b: designing authentic learning activities that align with content standards and utilize technology to support student learning. This standard guides teachers to create meaningful, real-world tasks that leverage digital tools effectively.
For this assistive technology presentation, I partnered with a classmate, but I presented the first part. My focus student was diagnosed with dysgraphia, an impairment of handwriting ability characterized by very poor or illegible writing that takes an unusually long time and great effort to complete.
