As a future educator, I want to provide a classroom that invites students to feel safe and included. In addition, to educating students through academics, the practice of interpersonal skills will also be utilized to prepare students for their future.
I hope to create a classroom that includes and supports all students. Through inclusion and using equitable practices, I will make sure to identify barriers that pose a challenge for students to effectively reach their academic and social potential.
Through utilizing Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory, I will use various strategies of multiple intelligences to ensure all students can learn in a way that best suits them.
Various qualities make a successful, good teacher. Some qualities that I hope to bring into my classroom include patience, adaptability, being free of bias, and exhibiting respectful behavior
I will prepare students for the real world by utilizing a diverse and tailored curriculum, practicing social-emotional learning, and incorporating concepts of Paulo Freire
