Hello! My name is Jasra Mohamed Rabi and I am a Sophomore Education Studies major at the Dominican University of California.
I was born in India and moved to California at age five. From there on, I grew up in a city called Novato in Marin County. Throughout my life, I knew I wanted to join a profession that involved the well-being of children and helping them in any way that I could. I joined Dominican as a Nursing major but immediately knew that wasn't something that I was interested in and quickly changed to Education Studies. I can't wait to see what's ahead of me and what I will do here at the Dominican University of California. I'm so excited about all the relationships and experiences I'm going to gain here!
I'm a first-generation Asian Indian with a younger sister who is two years younger than me. While I'm not involved in my studies, you can find me baking, taking pictures, or adding places I want to visit to my bucket list! I'm an older sister, a daughter, and a first-generation student who is motivated and hopeful to make better changes in my community.
