The Character Study Poster at left is work completed in my EDU1000 Course in Fall 2022. Through this assignment, we are to identify the chosen character through their appearance, background history, their fame, setting, mannerism, and their quotes. Creating this poster was very fun as we had options on how we wanted to present and outline it.
The Garba Dance lesson at right was a work completed in my EDU1001 Course in Spring 2023. In this assignment, we chose both a Social Studies and Dance standard to communicate and present a type of dance to my class. I had the opportunity to bring the life of an Indian dance into my lesson through some history of the Garba, its folklore, and a follow-along dance video.

Ms. Chipman (Fall 2023 Accomodating Teacher) uses art as an expression and tool to explore different cultures. This art project of the Mexican Sun and Moon art project explores warm and cool color schemes. It's the idea of the unity of opposites and balance. Ms. Chipman used this to build community by helping students learn more about the Mexican culture.
