Communication is the ability to successfully use interpersonal skills and components of literacy (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) to contribute to teaching, learning, and development.
The Music Lesson slides at left is a work completed in my EDU1001 Course in Spring 2023. In this presentation, my partner and I focused on teaching the class both the Treble Clef and the Bass Clef.
The Lesson Plan at left has more in-depth information regarding our goals of the lesson, our UDL principles in action, the standards we utilized, our step-by-step instructional procedures, and the list of materials that will be used.
The essay at right is a semi-personal essay from EC 2000 in which Malala Yousafzai had expressed resilience and impacted others. I specifically chose Malala because as a young girl, she has gone through so many obstacles, but still stands up tall and strong to support and uplift many girls/women who want education.
The document at right shares the methodology (the system of methods of a language, the theories of how language came to be, whether it was being born with the skills to speak or acquiring it through environmental cues, and finally, my personal language identity.
The slides on the left present the history of the Mali Empire from 1230 CE to 1490 CE. It explores the founding of the empire in western Africa and its profound cultural, economic, industrial, and religious changes that led to its long-standing authority and influence.
The slides at right introduced Cindy Derby, an award-winning children's book author and illustrator. The presentation introduces the author, shares a few books she has illustrated, and provides a critical analysis of the author and how I will integrate one of the books into early childhood classrooms.
