Monday: No School

Tuesday: We had originally planned to meet with Mr. Rojas to discuss the next steps, however we did not end up getting to meet with him. We decided to work on our weekly reports as well as brainstorming some possible plan B's. We came up with using acrylic instead of metal as it would be easier to cut.

Wednesday: We spent part of the period working with Mr. Rojas to try to create a new file that just did the outline and not the letters. We also changed the bit on the machine as the other one was worn down. However, we ran out of time to actually test the file.

Thursday:

Friday: After our project was removed from the CNC machine, we had to discuss the next steps as we could no longer use the CNC to cut because the zeros would never be the same. We discussed flattening out the metal to make it easier to finish cutting it out. We then decided that we were going to have to file down the metal in an attempt to get it out of the larger sheet. We were able to start that process but it was a very slow one.
