W06

This week was spent working on getting the CNC machine up and running. Once we got the machine to work we were able to drill down the metal sheet to the CNC base so it wouldn't move.  Our first test was just going to be drilling. Our first problem was getting the bit into the collar on the machine. We were able to fix this by having people hold different pars of the machine while other people screwed it in. On Thursday we began to drill. We were having difficulty getting the bit to drill through the metal. We added a grease to see if it would help but it didn't. Due to a time constraint we were unable to drill through the material.
