add shapes vector images

change object order
This is my beautiful artwork I made using inscape. It was made using vector images that I layered (Z order) together to create this shape. To create this, I added shapes (such as the rectangles are ovals) and I added colors as well (as the black in the ovals). Additionally, I rotated the oval (the eye) as I wished and positioned the shapes (rectangles) to create the heart. Lastly, I changed the object order so it turned out as I wished it too.
In this lesson, I used inkscape to explore different tools. Today I used 4 notable tools: node, curve, freehand and the layers. I used 3 layers in total to add accurate outlines and so it was easier to control

This is my vector image and the reason it looks terrible is either because I gave up and I didn't have enough time. I'll let you decide what you think it was. Anyways, in this vector image, I used all the skills I learnt (I think). This vector image was created in procreate.
I used all of the skills on the left. The first one can be seen when I change and have lots of layers. In the second one, I am in the menu where I can rotate and reposition shapes. The coloring shapes can be seen because I have colors and lastly, the creating shapes can be seen at the shapes I created!
In the first picture, you can see me distorting a path to edit it. I can also create shapes by using the brush tool (shown as creating shapes as well before). I also combine shapes by combining the layers (as shown). Lastly, I grouped layers which is similar to combining except I still have the seperate original pieces.
This is the task I did. The task was the following:
create a blue square 80x80
duplicate the square twice
make one half the size of the first square
make the other square twice the size of the first size
To make the first blue square I jsut made a rectangle roughly with the shape tool, making it blue as well. After that, I opened the XML editor and changed the length and width to 80 and that made the first square. After that, I copied (CTRL+C) and pasted (CTRL+V) two times. That made two identical squares and I moved the squares accordingly so it didn't overlap. I changed the length and width of the first square to 40 (half of 80) and the second one's to 160. After that, I just moved the squares to this position and roughly made it align.
This is what the XML editor looks like (well at least the part I edited). As you can see the important part of the menu is height and width which I changed to 80 (this is the original square).
The explorer task was to change the color of the squares and I did that by just clicking on style in the XML editor and changed the code for the color.
The language in the XML editor (to the left) is called markup language and ir produces the vector image. The text is from a type of vector graphic file called SVG (scalable vector graphic). The SVG graphic is stored by the Markup text.
to change the color, change the hex code which is next to the fill.
