I carried out my last two years of education at The Green School and what an adventure it was. Moving just after finishing my GCSE's at a rigorous state school in England to a jungle-based school in Bali. What a change, what freedom, I fell in love.
Everything hit my senses, the heat, the smells, the colours and flavours of the East. I had developed a good work ethic in the English Curriculum and now I could put it into practice whilst focusing on subjects and projects that really engaged me. I started to see the world from another perspective. My relationship with consumerism and material things started to slip away, almost unnoticed. My Carbon footprint started to diminish on a daily basis (despite the long hall flight to get there). I also enrolled in classes that I felt excited about. I started to grow up, see and feel what inspired me, rather than what I was told to do. Green school was a great experience for me and has impacted my life positively in so many different ways. From the people, the ethics, to the beauty. The Green school was so much more than a school for me.

I feel like I have created a circle of trust with all the teachers and my classmates through out my schooling career.
I often find team building oin projects being much more productive for me as we drive eachother to work harder.

I keep mysocial personal agenda outside when coming into learn.
