Summer Discovery's pre-college program isn't just about academics—it's a launchpad into the world of higher education, preparing you for college life and beyond. Summer Discovery's diverse fields of study, spanning STEM, psychology, arts, law, business, math, science and so much more, are taught by experts and leaders in their respective fields of study. Our programs deliver tangible results that enable you to strengthen your college application and propel you forward with the confidence and clarity to define your future career goals.

Summer at IMG Academy Florida

Summer Discovery and IMG Academy Florida have teamed up to provide students with an unparalleled educational and athletic experience. Located in Bradenton, Florida, IMG Academy is world-renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, elite coaching staff, and holistic development programs. For over 40 years, IMG Academy has been a leader in athletic training and academic excellence, helping students achieve success both on and off the field.

Through Morning Sports Camps and Afternoon Academics, our middle school and high school programs at IMG Academy offer students the chance to develop their athletic skills alongside world-class coaches while exploring career paths in sports business, athletic training, and leadership. Students can also dive into innovative academic programs such as business entrepreneurship, STEM, and digital media. The Summer Discovery experience also extends beyond IMG Academy's world-class facilities. Students will explore the vibrant Sarasota/Tampa Bay area through twice-weekly off-campus excursions, and multi-week students will enjoy weekend adventures to attractions like Busch Gardens. With 3 flexible 2-week sessions available throughout June and August, students can create their ideal summer experience, even choosing different sports each week if attending multiple sessions.

Aside from the plethora of academic and social enrichment offered, IMG Academy’s legacy includes a long list of distinguished alumni who have excelled in their respective sports and beyond. Boasting an alumni and trainee network that includes names like Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Sebastian Korda, Michael Mmoh, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, many of the world’s elite athletes call IMG Academy home.

In addition to its alumni and trainees' individual successes, IMG Academy has consistently been a powerhouse in athletic championships across sports like basketball, football, soccer, and tennis. Its teams and athletes have claimed numerous national and international titles, further strengthening the academy's reputation as a proving ground for athletic excellence. Together, Summer Discovery and IMG Academy provide a unique opportunity for students to thrive academically and athletically in a world-class environment, setting them on a path to success in both their educational and professional journeys.

Our programs are designed to give students the chance to challenge themselves intellectually while 

immersing themselves in new cultures. Students have the opportunity to dig deeper into subjects 

that fascinate them or discover disciplines that are less commonly offered in school, such as 

Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, or Criminology. Our programs in Barcelona and Paris offer Spanish 

and French language classes at all levels and academic immersion courses for students who wish to 

challenge themselves yet further, not to mention a wide variety of academic and creative courses in 

English. Again in 2025, students will have the opportunity to apply for

scholarships based on financial need and academic merit.
