The first thing you will need is your “Letter of Employment” (LOE) which certifies that you do work for our school. You will need the school secretary to start this paperwork for you. You won’t be able to do much else until that comes through. So when you arrive, getting that paperwork started should be a first priority. After you get your LOE you will be able to get a “Common Access Card” (CAC card) which is your ID card to get on base and get logged on to computers. You will get this at the ID office on Camp Henry. Getting you and your family registered into the system also takes time. Many of us find that even after years of living here, these tasks take us a few trips to complete, so if it takes you a few tries, don’t be discouraged! Camp Henry (where many of the offices you will need) is very close to Camp George (where the school is) and there are many teachers who would be happy to give you a ride there after school.
