Arriving in Daegu

Congratulation!!! You made it to Daegu, Korea.

When you arrive, you will probably fly into the Incheon airport and then fly Korean Air for the last leg from Incheon to Daegu (or take an airport limousine which runs much more frequently to Daegu.) At the Daegu International Airport, either your sponsor will pick you up or you can take a cab to your temporary lodging. Your temporary lodging maybe either on Camp Walker or off-base hotel. Please have your Travel Orders and ID (passports ok) with you for every member in your party for Camp Walker Lodging. You need them to be allowed to get on base. The off-base cabs will only take you to the base gate. However, the temporary lodging on Camp Walker is in walking distance from the gate. The Camp Walker is about 11km, 30 minutes taxi-ride from Daegu International Airport. You will need Korean money.(about 10,000 - 12,000 won depending on traffic)
