The Bulldog Raider Team works on physical tasks and competes in competitions at least once per year. The Raiders train at least three times a week doing hard yet very rewarding and fun conditioning. While being a Butler JROTC Raider, individuals learn a sense of Esprit de corps, teamwork, and earn opportunities for leadership roles. Raiders work on physical conditioning and usually take a modified Army Fitness Test during the competition. The team also works on first aid tasks, rope bridges, map skills, and physical team activities like the HMMWVPull, Litter Carry, and Obstacle Courses.
Like most cadets, the Raiders love wearing the OCPs for practice and competition. All equipment is provided free of cost by the JROTC department. The cadet's responsible for maintaining the equipment and returning it cleaned and serviceable at the end of the SY.
