Butler Bulldog Battalion retains Gold Star Unit Ranking

Honor Unit with Distinction from 2003-2026 

Butler Bulldog battalion received a rating of 99.5% on their JROTC Program of Accreditation (JPA) assessment on 2 March 2026. This allows cadets to continue wearing the gold star on their uniforms for earning an Honor Unit Of Distinction (HUD) rating.  An Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD) has demonstrated exceptional performance in all areas of program operation. 

Congratulations to all of the JPA teams (Battalion Continuous Improvement Project, Service Learning Project, Color Guard, Platoon Drill, Cadet portfolio interviews, and Instructor inspections) and your fellow cadets who supported this effort. A special thank you to the families of our cadets and the entire BHS faculty and staff for all their support and flexibility this year leading up to this accreditation. Amazing effort Bulldogs!!!
