Control measures must be created and implemented if the risk assessment indicates a concern. In connection, eradicating the hazards is a must. However, if it’s impossible to do it, minimizing the exposure and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the kitchen will be a great help. From this, hazards and risks in the workplace will promptly address.
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

Clean up spills as soon as possible, and place warning signs.
Maintain a clean, neat, congestion-free and well-lit environment.
Always have a clearly marked first-aid kit and fire extinguisher on hand.
Provide training about lifting techniques.
Practice proper posture while doing work.
Use less hazardous substances.
Read the directions before using it.
Procedures on sterilizing and sanitizing should be followed correctly.
Store all chemical materials like cleaning agents away from stove or alike.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while using chemicals.
Always check the equipment before using it.
Put tag on non-functional equipment to warn people not to use it.
Regular maintenance should be performed by licensed electrician or authorized agency.
Turn off the power and remove the plug not the cord when adjusting or cleaning equipment.
Avoid using too many equipment in one socket.
Always sterilize and sanitize the tools and equipment needed.
Practice physical distancing due to pandemic situation.
Wear face mask as always.
Sneeze properly thru elbow if tissue or handkerchief is not available.
Avoid working while sick.
Monitor the health of workers.
Reduce workplace stressors.
Organize team-building activity.
Use intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
Build a conducive working environment.
