Cookery is an exploratory course under Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) for Junior High School specifically Grade 7 and 8. At the end of this course, the learners should be able to:
Utilize appropriate kitchen tools, equipment and paraphernalia.
Maintain appropriate kitchen tools, equipment and paraphernalia.
Store and stack kitchen tools and equipment.
Carry out measurements and calculations in a required task.
Calculate cost of production.
Value the importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
Identify hazards and risks in the workplace.
Evaluate and control hazards and risks in the workplace
