Information regarding the Pathfinder nominees went uncovered, so although I'm not required to complete briefs, I took the opportunity because nobody else did. Briefs are important to get information to the student body quickly and with brevity. Our social media posts used to be as long as briefs, but we have encouraged more brief writing to prevent content that is too long for Instagram but still cover events and news through shorter content.

After writing the brief about Pathfinder nominees, once I saw more information shared in Slack regarding possible story ideas, the YoungArts Winners were one of them. At the time, not much information had gone out about the winners since it was primarily new and fresh. I took the opportunity to whip up a quick brief to get this celebratory information out to readers who were curious and highlight the winners from our school.
