The upper management of our publication collaborated on the vision we wanted for the magazine. We decided on a color guide for us to incorporate across our platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. When I make event schedules for Instagram, the graphics incorporate one or more of these colors. Any flyers we produce incorporate these colors. We want The Muse to be cohesive.
Once we publish our issues, we host a distribution day party during lunch where we wear Muse shirts and split up across campus to direct students to the cafeteria to read copies. To promote engagement, we have designed crosswords for readers to fill out using The Muse's content to win prizes. We have a spinner wheel at the table where students can win candy and other prizes by following our social media platforms or downloading our app. I want to start doing a photo booth where students engage with our content or suggest a story idea to take a photo.
