Huntington and earthquake

On Wednesday in Barstow, California Janice Jones was shot in the leg. Her dog knocked off her gun and ended up shooting Janice Jones in the leg when it hit the ground. Jones was admitted to the Huntington beach hospital and the dog was taken by the Huntington beach animal control officers.

“It could have been worse,” Rye a California highway patrol press liaison said. “The bullet hit two inches from the gas tank.”

Jones was eating porkchops when this specific event happened in the back of her motor home. Jones was then admitted into the Hunington beach hospital where its spokeperson confirmed her treatment there but had no other comments on the situation.

“It could have done with a little less abuse and a few more of those pork chops,” Ngo one of the animal control officers said.

Jones dog, Tombo appeared to be malnourished and had fresh cigarette burns on its head seemingly from the abuse of its owner Jones. And Ngo one of the animal control officers indicated that they would be filing animal abuse charges on Jones.

"Her being shot also revealed to us that she had several expired license plates and she didnt even have a permit for her 9 mm handgun" said Police officer Nolan," Who knows what else she has done and we are considering pressing charges for not having a permit for the gun"

Jones was cited by officers for having many expired license plates and for not having a gun permit.

On Monday morning in the san Francisco bay area a earthquake struck at 8:12 am PDT. The earthquake had a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale in the epicenter of the earthquake and was located under Hayward Hills.

The epicenter of the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale, was under the Hayward Hills, according to Penny Gertz, a scientist from the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park. Gertz called the quake a “strong one” and said it occurred on the Hayward Fault, which runs under the hills.

The center of the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on a Richter scale under Hayward hills was above the average earthquake of  2.5 to 5.4 magnitude on the richter scale. This kind of earthquake is uncommon studies showing only around a hundred to a hundred fifty occur every year and are even capable of collapsing buildings. Many people as far as Los Angeles and as far north like Redding even felt the earthquake.

"I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling. I dove under the table just as I heard an explosion outside and a chunk of cement flew through my kitchen window said Hayward Hills member Mike Beamer," That’s when the screaming start across the street.”

A building where a McHenry's Auto Supply at 2342 Plum St collapsed killing two people and injuring six other people, according to Jennifer Vu, who is a information officer from the Hayward Fire Department. Firefighters utilized rope to stabilize the Mchenry's and searched the building and put a ca on a gas line once they detected a gas leak at the site.

"Twenty-one fire personnel, 12 police and five American Red Cross workers responded to the building collapse, with some arriving within four minutes of the quake,"Vu said.

The Hayward emergency services were quick to respond to this situation in order to transport and hospitalize 3 of the six people alive that needed it and were quickly transported to the Hayward General Hospital. Vu added that there were not any more serious injures reported in Hayward Hills.
