Welcome! I'm Mrs. Bonar
Hello! My name is Allison Bonar,and after 14 years of being an at-home mother, I’m thrilled to be your 6th Grade Language Arts teacher. This is my very first year teaching, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with you!

I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2024 and have just completed my master’s degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. Teaching has been a long-time dream of mine, and I am passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.

Outside of the classroom, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years. We have a wonderfully big family with eight children, two sons-in-law, and a sweet grandson who brings us so much joy. Our home is also full of love from our three dogs—two Chihuahuas, Sunny and Chico, and a French Bulldog named Louis.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and curling up with a good book. I can’t wait to learn more about each of you and create a classroom where we grow, laugh, and learn together. Let’s make it a fantastic year!
