The Utilities - Railroad record in PMWeb is used to store contact information for designated railroad utility stakeholders and to document the railroad scope of work for a project. The Utilities - Railroad record in PMWeb enables Utility Specialists to complete the Work Plan and submit it for review.
A separate Utilities - Railroad record should be created for each company/railroad.
Completion of this record within PMWeb is not required, however, a Utilities - Railroad record is required for all CDOT projects involving or affecting Railroads.
Access: This record is located in the Records module of PMWeb.

To request additional training or documentation, please submit a Help Request in PMWeb.
In the Record Information header section, identify the Project and the involved Railroad company. PMWeb will auto populate the Subject. If the information is available, enter the Railroad NTP.
In the Record Details header section, identify any consulting parties or local agencies. Enter the dates of Engineering Plan submissions and approvals.
In the Railroad Scope of Work table, document the the scope of work being undertaken at the railroad crossing.
In the Railroad Information table, answer Yes or No for each question item. Document any notes to support your answers if applicable.
In the Agreements table, check the Required checkbox for each agreement required for the project. If available, enter the agreement submission dates, execution dates, and relevant agreement document titles or notes.
Once the record is submitted, PMWeb will auto approve the record.
Once approved, the record will be locked and no further changes can be made
