•Users with access to FTI data stores in the GenTax warehouse must make a comment on the taxpayer account or in Federal Comments in the GenTax warehouse when FTI is accessed. These comments are necessary to show that the employee had a business purpose for accessing the data

•A comment should be added to the CRM at the account level if a CAN exists, or to the warehouse when a CAN does not exist

•The comment may be brief but must include the specific reason the information was needed (e.g.: return review, billing project). Be specific about why you accessed the account
