During the week from 06.06.2023 to 12.06.2023 the fourth and last mobility of our project was held in Heraklion, Crete. The meeting was host by our partner school Primary School of Voutes and was dedicated to the natural and historical treasures of our hosting country.
During this mobility our students took part to a welcome ceremony with traditional dances performed by the pupils and teachers of our host school. The song "Welcome to us", especially written for this Erasmus + project as part of the "Sustainability and poetry" activity, was also performed. The students then visited the school and took part to a robotics workshop. In Heraklion they were welcomed in the "Loggia" palace by the deputy major of the town. Teachers and students visited the local University where they learned about chemistry and its "mysteries". In the FORTH research centre they learned about molecular biology research techniques. In the Knossos Archaeological site they learned about the antique Minoic civilization, the oldest in the Mediterranean. In the Heraklion aquarium they could appreciate the marvels of the local sea. Students cleaned a local beach, took part to sports on the beach (including a yoga session) explored the small alleys of a lovely town called Rethymnon, walked down the gorges of Agios Antonios.
This mobility allowed our students and teachers to really get in touch with a wonderful environment, enjoy it in the best possible way, fully respecting its uniqueness.
This was the last mobility of our project, started behind the screens of our computer during the dark months of our recent history and, luckily for us, completed in the most joyful and playful way.
During the week from 22.03.2023 to 25.03.2023 the third mobility of our project was held in San Giorgio a Cremano (Italy). The meeting was host by our partner school IC IV Stanziale and was dedicated to the treasures of our built and natural environment.
During this mobility our students met the Majoir of San Giorgio in the Municipal Hall, playied games in the "Città dei bambini e delle Bambine", sang danced with the italian students, learned about the Volcano Vesuvius and climbed on it, visited Herculaneum archeological site, visited the National Miuseum of Locomotives in Pietrarsa, the Turtles Hospital in Portici and the ENEA research centre on renewable energies. They visited Neaples, tasted the local street food, listened to the local traditional music.
Moreover, this mobility was for all of our teachers and students an exraordinary moment to know each other, to make new friends and to learn about each others' cultures. Thank again to our partners for the great time we spent toghether.
During the week from 4.10.2022 to 09.10.2022 the second mobility of our project was held in Rydultowy (Poland). The meeting was host by our partner school Szkoła Podstawowa nr 2 w Rydułtowach and was dedicated to a short-term exchanges of groups of pupils.
During this mobility our children learned about the local culture, history, traditions, cuisine and language . They took part to a large variety of workshops organised by our host teachers and students: art and crafts, robotics, dancing, science, sport, coding. They learned about carbon as a non renewable source of energy analysing its impact on the environment and the Polish Economy.
Techers and students explored a local Coal Mine (Luisa Cola Mine) and visited Krakow.
A final theter performance that involved host and hosting students was held in a local theater. This was a great opportunity for our children to further focus on the 2030 Global Goals in a personalised and creative way.
During this mobility or students and teachers constantly worked in multi cultural groups and could share precious moments as well as learning opportunities. Thank you to our partners for the great time we spent toghether.

Our students and teachers performed several national dances along with primary school children. This was a very nice way to learn about Polish history adn traditions
During the week from 31.05.2022 to 05.06.2022 the first mobility of our project was held in Gebze (Turkey). The meeting was host by our partner school Mustafa Üstündağ Ortaokulu and was dedicated to Teachers Training Activities concerning Sustainability in its wide definition.
After two years from the beginning of the project, during which we have carried out Distance Learning Activities and we could not travel due to the Covid emergency, it was a great pleasure for all the teachers to eventually meet up and get to know colleagues, students and parents in our hosting school. Thanks to our hosting partners for their extraordinary hospitality and competence in organising this wonderful event.

On the last day children performed a wonderful play in the school theater on the importance of respecting our environment. The play was written by the school teachers who also directed the perfomance, carefully choosing soundtracks and lights.
