How might you intentionally take care of you this month? Try to commit to at least one habit or action you can repeat throughout the month.
Teaching will take as much from you as you're willing to give it. The work is literally never finished. With that knowledge, it is important to know, understand and practice finding that perfect work-life balance. We know you're probably shaking your head right now wondering, "How am I supposed to practice this self care with so many demands on my plate?" We're giving you permission right here...Leave after the last student leaves and don't let anyone let you feel guilty about it! "Self-care is the root of resilience when you're dragging yourself toward winter break and your emotions are raw." You have the power to make intentional decisions to put your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being at the forefront of our work.
