My Awesome Anthem | Cultivate Compassion
“But the most awesomefied people on the planet are we who embrace our ridiculousness. We live what we love and we love incorrigibly.”
My Awesome Anthem | Cultivate Compassion
How might you intentionally practice compassion for you this month?
As educators, we typically put others before ourselves most of the time. We exhibit enormous levels of compassion for others. Our question to you this month is: How might you intentionally practice compassion for you this month? Giving ourselves the same love and grace we extend to others goes a long way in helping up to become the best educator we can. Remember, our theme last month? You don't have to know everything to know about teaching in the first year (or the 30th year!) for that matter.
We hope you'll take some time to explore the resources we've included to cultivate compassion and perspective this month. As Sekou Andrews states in his "Awesome Anthem," "But the most awesomefied people on the planet are we who embrace our ridiculousness. We live what we love and we love incorrigibly." Be awesome, friends!
