Marigold Moments

Attention New Educators, Mentors and Ambassadors: We love the symbol of the marigold to highlight the good in our Mentor 360 experience. When gardeners want to protect young, vulnerable plants, they often plant companion plants, like marigolds, next to them. These companion plants emit certain chemicals that protect the young plants from dangers like worms, rodents and disease. In protecting the new plants, they nurture their growth. 'Marigolds' exist here in Stafford County Public Schools! They are our Ambassadors, mentors, administrators, PLCs, custodians, secretaries, paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, bus drivers and beyond! We'd like to celebrate our marigolds all throughout the year!
