Mentor 360 Ambassadors are the lead mentors who facilitate the Mentor 360 program at each school site. These teacher leaders act as a liaison between the school and the Coordinator of New Teacher Support.
Read and utilize the Mentor 360 Ambassador Handbook in order to successfully serve in this role.
Complete all necessary tasks as outlined in the Prep for Success Ambassador Guides to prepare for Prep for Success Week.
Work with my site administrators to assign mentors or colleagues to new licensed hires to Stafford Schools using the Mentor Selection and Matching Guidelines
Plan and provide a new licensed hire orientation at the building level on Monday of Prep for Success Week in collaboration with building level specialists (ILC, CTT, admin, etc.) and attend Prep for Success Week.
Enter and maintain all building mentors, colleagues, and new hires into the Mentor Module in PowerSchool/TAlentED
Collect all Mentor 360 Mentor and Colleague Agreements, ensure they are initialed and signed, and send them to the M360 Coordinator in order for mentors to be compensated in a timely manner
Attend all quarterly Ambassador Meetings.
Schedule quarterly Check-ins with the M360 Coordinator when requested.
Read weekly Ambassador Memos and adhere to deadlines and requests from M360 Coordinator.
Lead Monthly Mentee Meetings with mentees utilizing the Monthly Mentee Meeting Guide and Slide Decks.
Lead Quarterly Mentor Meetings with mentors utilizing the Quarterly Mentor Meeting Guide and Slide Decks.
Collect and track Meeting Reflection Submissions from all mentors and colleagues.
Advocate for, coordinate, and track Peer Observations for all Year 1 Mentees.
Utilize annual Ambassador Funds for building based support of mentors, colleagues, and mentees.
Promote positive Mentor/Mentee relationships by reading, analyzing and providing support based on mentor/mentee feedback and survey data
Attend the annual spring Ambassador Retreat.
Communicate any building mentoring needs to the Mentor 360 Coordinator.
Encourage use of the Mentor 360 Resource Hub among mentors and mentees
Believe in the capacity of all new licensed staff and mentors to be successful
Maintain confidentiality and serve as a role model for the profession
