4. Reference digital tools already provided to DMS students

Students checking mail on their iPad will need to go to the App Store to download the GMail app -- their native mail app may not work

It will be easier for students to submit assignments in Canvas through a Chrome or Safari browser. However, PDF annotation is only available through the student app.

5. Use the Tools LISD Already Has Available in Canvas and Google Suite

To help teachers choose tools that meet all laws around student safety and privacy, the Digital Learning Department maintains the Technology Integration for Learning and Teaching (TILT) website which includes the approved apps for student use.
