Thank You!

Thank you to our Grade 7 parents & students who delivered Dinner Dance invites to Grade 8 graduates! You made these final weeks at SPS so special for the Class of 2020!

Thank you to HSA for dropping lawn signs to all our faculty and staff! I know I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that we are so fortunate to be part of the SPS community!

Blessings,

Solemnity of the Ascension

The NJ bishops decided not to make May 21, Solemnity of the Ascension, a holy day of obligation, so we will not have a mass on that date. The Bishops of New Jersey have agreed to transfer the celebration of the Solemnity of the Ascension from a holy day of obligation observed on Thursday, May 21, 2020, to the Seventh Sunday of Easter, May 24, 2020, replacing the Mass and readings of the Seventh Sunday of Easter. The transfer of the feast is for this year only. As you are aware, the obligation of the faithful to attend Mass remains suspended for the present time. On Thursday, May 21, 2020, the Mass of Thursday of the Sixth Week of Easter is celebrated or the Optional Memorial of Saint Peter Magallanes, Priest, and Companions, Martyrs is observed with the Mass being taken from the Common of Several Martyrs.
